After 17 years of dedicated service, Steve Campbell has made the personal decision to step down from his role as Chief Executive of Youth Search and Rescue (YSAR) Trust. As one of the original founders in 2007, Steve has led the organisation through remarkable growth and transformation from its early Tauranga based pilot, to a nationally recognised youth development programme operating across the country.
Steve acknowledges the incredible individuals, volunteers, staff, partners, and funders who have brought the YSAR vision to life. The collective impact of the YSAR community in growing confident, resilient young leaders is the organisational achievement that brings Steve the most satisfaction and pride.
Steve remains an advocate for youth development across New Zealand.
