Organizational Resilience, Growth and Diversity are key focuses for YSAR – Youth Search and Rescue development strategy. A component of our plan to scale across New Zealand is a significant investment in our online learning platform, YSAR Canvas LMS. We have an incredible development team working behind the scenes to build our LMS which provides a standardized and central management portal for our training and student learning records.
YSAR has 130 training modules across 9-course disciplines including; Bushcraft(OE), Search and Rescue Methodology, Leadership, Emergency Management, SAR Technology, Water Safety, and Maritime, First Aid, Weather, and Wellness. Our students are some of the future volunteer workforces in Search and Rescue and Emergency Management.
