YSAR are proud to be partnering with Ferntech and Eagle Technology and Massey University School of Aviation in our RPAS programme. Ferntech and Massey University have sponsored 4 YSAR instructors to complete the Pilot Training through their School of Aviation. Having more instructors trained with their pilot license, will help expand the YSAR RPAS programme by conducting more innovation projects for SAR and EM. There are significant opportunities in the utilisation of RPAS in SAR and EM response and with the right training and development NZ could be leading the implementation of this technology.
