Student perspective of their YSAR experience
Student 1 – Will be forever grateful for the YSAR program and what it has given me. A big thanks to all the leaders for making it a reality. You have really changed lives and are one of the greatest community organisations that Aotearoa has. Thank you for all that you have done and what you do.
Student 2 – Thank you for creating what has been the most profound experience of my life, second only to becoming a mother. My ability to navigate the challenges that cross my path has been greatly influenced by those years spent in the bush. From the grounding, community and healthy challenge of YSAR, I’ve created a life I am proud of.
Student 3 – Best thing I ever did was to join YSAR – I would be really keen to be involved in expanding it to other regions around the country and giving more young people the awesome opportunities I was lucky enough to have.
